Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • Rooms and dining score lower than the location — In the rating breakdown, Rooms and cleanliness and Dining both sit at 7, while Location and Price/service sit at 8. Guests still praise the rooms and breakfast, but this is a more modest B&B than a full-service hotel.
  • Check-out is at 10:00 — Check-in is from 14:00 to 23:59, and check-out is by 10:00. Late risers or anyone wanting a slow final morning may find the deadline tight.
  • Limited on-site dining outside breakfast — There is a bar/lounge area and in-room breakfast, but no restaurant or dinner service is listed among the amenities. Guests are pointed to local restaurants instead.

“The place felt like a warm hug from the moment we arrived. The spacious suite was a dream, with a cosy living room and a luxurious bathtub – ideal after long days of sightseeing. Mornings started with a beautiful spread of fresh pastries and coffee, looked after by lovely staff.”

“The location near Via Veneto was excellent. We had stayed near Termini earlier in the trip and wished we had booked Deko Rome for the whole stay. Owners Marco and Serena were welcoming and extremely helpful. Even though we were only there one night, Marco recommended great restaurants in the Trastevere area. Breakfast was very generous. He also booked our airport taxi – the best €50 we spent. The car was luxurious, Italian songs played, and the driver pointed out landmarks on the way. It was a wonderful send-off back to the UK. We will certainly return and hope they keep up the great work.”

“A truly unforgettable stay. The hotel is functional and trendy, with a perfect, handy location. The king room felt brand new and had a balcony, toiletries and excellent amenities. The service was exceptional and there was parking nearby. Everything was fantastic.”
